Following their recent reissue of some vintage - and genuinely brilliant - remixes of Ashford & Simpson's 'Bourgie Bourgie' by Director's Cut and Joaquin 'Joe' Clausell, Groovin Recordings have turned their attention to another of the legendary soul duo's disco-era classics, 1979's 'Found a Cure'. On side A, you'll find what we believe is the ultimate disco mix of the cut, a rare, ten minute Tom Moulton take that brilliantly stretches out the cut while foregrounding the duo's vocals and the superb original orchestration. Turn to side B for Dave Lee's 2018 'Found a Dub' version (originally released under his now abandoned Joey Negro alias), a more stripped-back disco dub that removes most of the original vocals while showcasing the intricacy of Ashford and Simpson's original 1979 arrangement.
