It would be accurate to say that B.B.E's 1996 club smash 'Seven Days & One Week' is one of the most cherished trance anthems of all time - not to mention one of the most remixes, with fresh interpretations (covers as well as remixes) periodically dropping ever since. This reissue, though, ignores these, instead offering up remastered versions of the trio's signature tune and its original B-side. 'Seven Days & One Week' is typical of uplifting trance of the period, with memorable (and surprisingly simple) melodic motifs and bubby electronics riding restless beats and an addictive bassline. 'Hypnose', meanwhile, is a little more spacey in tone - all starry chords, undulating acid lines, pulsating bass and weighty, unfussy beats.
