Music On Vinyl mark their 100th twelve with a reissue of *the* track; 'Greece 2000' has been remixed 50 times and still counting. It first came by way of Three Drives, the Rotterdam duo of Erik de Koning and Ton van Empel, first with the self-referential Massive Drive Recordings release in 1997, then the Hooj Choons version reaching UK chart spot number 12. The original extended mix descends from the heavens again: eight minutes of layered arpeggios and Balearic synth pads in its unaltered 1997 form. Alongside it are four reworks spanning the current landscape of festival-facing dance music: Vintage Culture's melodic rework, a Max Styler peak-time version, and a Kream big room take.
